The New Chapter Starts Here.

For years, Poison Studio has established itself as a trailblazer, right? Our bold, brave visual identity certainly made some waves in the industry, redefining what a creative studio could look like. It was unapologetically us, and it cut through the noise in a way only a few others did.

But here is the thing: businesses evolve, and so do we. Poison Studio isn't the same as it was back in 2016 when this wild ride began. We've grown, we've learned, and we've pushed boundaries. So, it felt right to celebrate that journey with a refreshed visual style that truly reflects where we are now. It's still brave, still bold, still confident and unapologetic - still unmistakably Poison Studio.

Kissing the Green Goodbye.

Now let's talk about the elephant in the room - the lack of a certain acidic green. For the first time since Poison Studio was established, almost a decade ago, our signature acidic green is gone. Yep, its last iteration, the legendary Badass Green (#BADA55) that reigned between 2020-2024, has retired.

And what's replacing it, you ask? Well, prepare yourselves for what some might call an 'interesting choice' to say the least: Pantone® 503 U (#F2CDCF). Believe me, this wasn't a decision we took lightly. But this isn't just any pink. It's a confident, unexpected hue that, for me, is not only a worthy successor to our signature colour but also a brilliant way to mark this exciting chapter in our story.

Same Character, New Light.

Don't panic thought! While we've made a bold move with our primary colour, the essence of Poison Studio is still very much alive and kicking. You'll still recognise us instantly. Our collection of interactive collage illustrations? Bigger and better than ever! Our direct, confident, unapologetic (and, let's be honest, perhaps a little arrogant) tone of voice? Absolutely intact. The characteristic headline font, the distinctive wordmark, and all those other little touches that make us... well, us - they're all still there.

This new identity isn't about erasing our past; it's about reintroducing our brand in a fresh light, but with the same powerful character you've come to expect.

Our Website: Always Evolving, Always fresh.

And because we can't resist a good revamp (it's kind of our thing!), alongside the new brand identity, we've also given our website an overhaul. We're firm believers that the web should constantly evolve. New technologies emerge, search engines update their algorithms, and our amazing team constantly comes up with fresh ideas. We're never afraid to revisit live projects, even our own, to breethe some fresh air into them.

For us, our website isn't just a digital brochure; it has to be the ultimate showcase of what we can do as a studio. Web design is our bread and butter, so it's crucial that our skills and expertise are screamingly clear through the site itself. It has to absolutely drip with character and outside-the-box thinking. It's our digital playground, where we get to show off our wildest ideas.

User Experience: More Than Just Pretty Pictures.

With this latest update, the name of the game was user experience. Over the last few years, we've clearly established ourselves as a one-of-a-kind design studio that isn't afraid of bold ideas, and that lives to push boundaries - sometimes even over the limit. Now, it's time to show that there's so much more to us than just raw creativity. We've got strong strategic thinking, a deep understanding of user behaviours, extensive experience building intuitive user experience, and so much more.

The result? A website that seamlessly combines stunning artwork and our brand's unique character with a clear, logical structure, easy, intuitive navigation, cool interactions, and a whole host of user-focused features. It's a site that not only looks increadible but also works like a dream.

A Milestone Celebration.

Honestly, I could talk about this project for hours, but I'll wrap things up quickly and let you get on with your day.

Since it started almost a decade ago, Poison Studio has been my alter-ego, a way for me to express my creativity, artistic vision, and somewhat rebellious nature in a productive and, dare I say, pretty damn cool way.

Now that we're working on more projects than ever before, with brands I could only dream of in the early days, this new identity is more than just a fresh coat of paint. It's a celebration of a significant milestone in what has been a truly awesome journey. And I'm sure there will be some sceptics out there who don't agree with this change in direction. Some of you will love it, some of you will hate it, and that's perfectly fine. Poison Studio is defnitely not for everyone, so it only makes sense that our brand identity isn't either.
