The Brief.
We also discuss some key highlights, challenges and behind the scenes stories, giving our visitors a sense of involvement, and showing them that sometimes things do not go as planned, and that's okay.
Most brief summaries will be concluded with short, two or three sentence-long paragraph, which will act as a closing statement (kinda).
This brand identity and website project for Botaniq+, a small lawncare business from Montreal, was one we took on not for its scale, but because it deeply aligned with our values. The founder's commitment to genuine care, thoughtful service, and going the extra mile inspired us to build a visual identity that felt just as personal. We crafted a look that balanced uniqueness with familiarity - one that clearly communicated 'outdoors' without falling into the clichés common in the local market. The logo features a custom 'leaf' symbol, while the colour palette is grounded in a mossy green we named Mousse - a nod to both nature and Canadian heritage of the brand.
With the identity in place, we designed a modular UI system that streamlined the website build and ensured scalability as the business grows. The site itself was tailored for a broad audience, with particular care given to accessibility and ease of use. Features like an embedded callback form that expands within the CTA button helped reduce friction for users on the go, while the bilingual experience made sure the site felt welcoming to both English and French-speaking residents of Montreal. The final result is a brand and digital presence that feels timeless, approachable, and built to grow - just like the business behind it.
