The Brief.
We also discuss some key highlights, challenges and behind the scenes stories, giving our visitors a sense of involvement, and showing them that sometimes things do not go as planned, and that's okay.
Most brief summaries will be concluded with short, two or three sentence-long paragraph, which will act as a closing statement (kinda).
For Tamareco, a mechanical engineering and design company committed to sustainable innovation, our challenge was to create a brand identity and website that felt as forward-thinking as their approach to engineering. Known for using fully recycled materials in all their design and product prototypes, Tamareco's values were clear - but standing out in a space saturated with predictable "green" tropes and industrial greys was not. Once we defined what to avoid, the creative direction became clear: a bold, unconventional identity rooted in approachability, personality, and a little bit of fun.
We built the visual identity around a saturated palette of purples and bright oranges - pared with the distinctive character of Dragon Extra Bold, a typeface that brought both clarity and confidence to the brand. For the website, we ditched the expected corporate layouts and went for something more interactive; a split-screen homepage slider that lets users jump directly into either of the company's two key departments. A mix of modern UI elements, opaque-glass effects, and custom iconography helped shape a digital presence that feels fresh, engaging, and unmistakably Tamareco.
